This existing clinic required a full renovation to accommodate the needs of the new RISE Community Health Centre and the community it supports. Changes to the layout were made to increase accessibility and improve functional flows throughout, while new materials and finishes helped remove the clinical and institutional feeling of a typical clinic space.

Engagement with the community and key stakeholders helped define the design direction and punchy colour palette, helping to add to their ownership and comfort in the space, and utilizing the services.
